The “Pre-Memorial” Irish Open has been working with Charities for 35 years. We are elated to have St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as our benefiting charity.

There was a time when Phil Harris, Claude Akins and I were talking of the fun and camaraderie of the tournament and mention was made that it just doesn’t get any better than it is right now. When Claude passed on, Phil and I couldn’t get away from the reflections of that day.

It seemed so ridiculous to have a Memorial for those who are no longer with us. The real issue should be to celebrate life and good times with all of us in company at the time. So I changed the name from the “Irish Open” to the
“Pre-Memorial” Irish Open.

The Letterman’s Club was introduced to honor those who have supported this event for 5 years or more with an induction into the Club with a personalized Letter Sweater and certain fraternal Letterman privileges.

What a wonderful venue to enjoy the warm sun in Palm Desert, California, the Great Golf Courses, rub elbows with the Celebrities and party with Fraternal Friends while at the same time helping a very worthwhile cause.

Whether a single, a foursome or a corporate outing, we look forward to giving you the time of your life at this fine Fraternal Experience.

3 days of Camaraderie, Fun in the sun, Competition

The first day is the registration party.
Here you will receive your Tee Prize Package which consists of your
Knicker Outfit to be worn on the next day's Group Picture. Aditionally, you will receive your drink tickets, pairing sheets, dinnder tickets, & all pertinent information to the Irish Open.

The following day is the first day of Play and Entertainment.
Here our traditional Group Photo will be taken in the morning, followed by our Shotgun Scramble in which groups will be assembled for play. This is where we play golf! In the evening, we have our traditional Celebrity Dinner.

The Final Day is the Awards Ceremony
Here we have a Shotgun Start for our last day of Golf. Cash prizes will be awarded here for: The classiest, The Most Traditional, The Most Creative Knicker Outfits. Following play there will be an Awards Banquet with food, drinks, music, and dancing.
